Directions from the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal
As you exit the terminal, you will be travelling on the Pat Bay Highway (Highway 17) towards the City of Victoria. After about 15-20 minutes on the highway you will pass Elk Lake and Beaver Lake on your right.
Continue south on Highway 17 into the City of Victoria, where Highway 17 changes to Blanshard Street (entering city limits), you will pass the Municipality of Saanich's Firehall, City Hall, and Police Station on your left.
Continuing south on Blanshard Street and at the Saanich Road intersection, the sights along the way include Gateway Village, Saanich Plaza, and the Emily Carr Public Library on your left and the Town & Country Shopping Centre on your right.
A little further on you will pass Mayfair Shopping Centre on your right (corner of Blanshard and Finlayson).
The next major intersection is at Hillside Avenue. Further south on Blanshard Street, on Kings Road (on your right) is the CH television station. Continuing to the Bay Street intersection, you will see Island Farms Dairy on your left and the Bay Street Armoury on your right.
Continue past the Save-On-Foods Centre under construction (at the corner of Blanshard and Caledonia Avenue) – on your left.
Further on, the next major intersections are at Pandora Avenue (one way West) then Johnson Street (one way East) then Yates Street (one way West) then View Street (two way) then Fort Street (one way East). One block south is the Royal Theatre at the Broughton Street intersection. Continue on Blanshard Street, past the Court House on your left (between Courtney Street and Burdett Avenue) until Belleville Street.
Turn right onto Belleville Street.
Sights along the way – past the Douglas Street intersection is the Royal British Columbia Museum on your left and the Fairmont Empress Hotel on your right. Continue one more block (past the Government Street intersection) and the Parliament Buildings is on your left with the Inner Harbour on your right.
Turn left onto Menzies Street.
Travel one block and turn right onto Quebec Street.
Travel one block until the intersection of Oswego Street and Quebec Street. The Harbour Towers Hotels & Suites is on your left with the Ramada Huntingdon Manor on your right.
Hotel parking is in the back, so turn left at Oswego Street and right into the underground parkade. Near the underground parkade entrance is the Lobby entrance (up one flight of stairs).
Directions from the Victoria International Airport (YYJ)
If you are travelling by car
Follow the signs to Victoria and turn right onto Pat Bay Highway (Highway 17).
Then follow the directions from the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal.
Alternatives for those without a car
Take the Airporter (shuttle bus). The Airporter runs every 30 minutes and the cost is $14.00 CDN. If you tell the driver you want to go to the Harbour Towers Hotel, he will know where to take you.
If you choose to take a taxi it will cost approximately $43.00 CDN.
